British Building Supplies Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with British Building Supplies. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with an item, you may be eligible for a return under the terms of this policy.

1. 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for most eligible items.

2. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused, unworn, and in the same condition as when you received it.

  • In its original packaging with all tags and accessories.

  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

3. How to Initiate a Return (Required First Step)

All returns must be pre-authorized. To start the process, please contact our customer service team at info@britishbuildingsupplies.com within the 30-day window. In your email, please include:

  • Your order number.

  • The product name and reason for return.

  • Photos of the item (if applicable, to help us assess the condition).

4. Our Return Process

  • Step 1: You email us to request a return authorization.

  • Step 2: We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. If approved, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) Number and provide a prepaid return shipping label and detailed instructions.

  • Step 3: Ship the item back to us using the provided label. Important: Returns sent without a prior authorization and RA Number will not be accepted.

5. Damages, Defects, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us at info@britishbuildingsupplies.com right away with photos/videos of the issue. We will evaluate the situation and work to resolve it promptly, which may include a replacement, repair, or refund.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Custom or Made-to-Order Products (including special sizes, colors, or configurations).

  • Perishable Goods (e.g., chemicals with a shelf life).

  • Hazardous Materials, Flammable Liquids, or Gases.

  • Clearance or Final Sale Items.

  • Gift Cards.

7. Refunds (Issued as Store Credit/Gift Card)

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process the refund.

  • All approved refunds will be issued in the form of a British Building Supplies e-Gift Card, which will be emailed to you.

  • Gift Cards never expire and can be used for future purchases on our site.

  • The e-Gift Card will typically be sent within 10 business days of us receiving your return. You will receive a notification email once it has been issued.

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get a different item is to follow the return process above. Once your return is accepted, you can use the issued e-Gift Card to place a new order for the desired item.
